Simple answer is no however; a lot of things also come with that answer. First of all how long ago did this happen? Second what was the name of the company that fired you? You will be told at some point to spend over $500 on a program called SAP. SAP will not help you in anyway. Even when you complete the SAP program the same companies will turn you down. Why because the companies insurance carriers will deem you to be a risk thus not cover you due to the positive drug test. Even if you complete the SAP program that has no bearing with the insurance companies. The SAP program is a third party slamming the last nail into your future by taking a huge amount of money from you when you have no income. I have dealt with all this already. Your only option now is to avoid being ripped off by SAP and use that money for more needed things. I couldn't tell you how long you will have to wait for this damage to pass however it has now been over three years ago for me and I have been one of the fools that spent the money on SAP to no avail. You will now have to look for small companies that do not use DAC or any other reporting agencies. This will be difficult as you will not know which company uses a reporting agency and which does not. You will have to lie on your applications and hope that the company you were driving for did not report your drug results to a reporting agency. If the company was small and did not report then you will need to find a friend that can cover the years of employment you had with the company that let you go. the bottom line is that you have been reported to DOT however; DOT does at this time not share that information with other companies. It sound crazy but that is the way it works. |
